A Personal Note From Randy Berning. We, like so many of the doctors we serve, are looking forward to a more upbeat economy in 2010! There will no doubt still be difficulty ahead and so it will be important to keep a close watch on the developing economic recovery. However, Doctor CEO's should be firm during this time and focus on their strategic plan, hold down expenses whenever possible , invest in prudent marketing initiatives and maintain adequate staffing for patient care. We are heavily involved in all the areas mentioned and continue to be proud to serve doctors carefully threading their way through this difficult time. As a result, it is wonderful and interesting time here at Berning & Affiliates!
Our long time clients have commented favorably on our revised website and everyone enjoys the new video features. More are coming and this year will see the release of our new forms package and enewsletter!

For those who may be visiting our site for the first time and interested in contemporary thinking on transition, get a hold of the California Dental Association Journal (February 2007). Lots of nice comments on my article “Smart Approach to Practice Transition: Options and Strategies”. This article is part of a theme issue for younger, mid-term and established doctors. For specialists check out the interview with Dr. David Sarver and Dr. Mark Yanosky for Topics In Orthodontics. Both doctors prepared questions from their respective perspective, the practice founder and the younger professional. Each then interviewed me from their special question set. It was fun, and a good exchange of views. Also appreciate very much the honor of being selected to do a guest lecture Making The Future Vivid: The Orthodontist CEO Leader for Practical Reviews in Orthodontics, published by Oakstone Publishing.
