Prior to entering the associateship both parties should explore important topics and consider how they will practice together. The key working items should be reduced to a written associateship agreement to avoid potential misunderstandings.   • We Provide Prospect / Practice Evaluation. In our view this is the critical starting point for professional practice relationships. Without an objective review of what the practice and the opportunity offers many practice owners we observe think they have more or less than what is actually present. As a result, when the practice opportunity is presented to prospects many times the younger professional does not gain an accurate picture of what is available.
  • We Assess The Potential Future Path of the Relationship. A primary part of starting the process properly is to have a facilitator that assists to determine the options for the parties' future, if any, after the associate phase.
