A Personal Note From Randy Berning. Presented two programs, first Avoiding the Crumbling Associateship: A Conversation With Owners and second, Negotiating The Contract: Tips for Associates at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Meeting 4/14-17/2011 in San Antonio. "Wish I had taken this program years ago" one practice owner told me, "I could have avoided 9 years of litigation over a failed partnership"! "Totally awesome"! That's what 65 orthodontic residents said at the Wired West program presented at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel in So. CA 3/4-5/2011. If ever there was a stunning location for a program looking out toward Catalina Island this is it! I presented Smart Start and had a great interaction with many in attendance!
Is it cold in Chicago during the Chicago Mid-Winter Meeting? I'll say! Despite the cold I had a fun time and a great dinner presenting my program Three Magical Questions to the Coolidge Club, an endodontic super study club 2/24/2011 in Chicago.
I enjoyed presenting Smart Start to 56 orthodontic residents at WIRED East the weekend of 2/19/2011 in Clearwater, FL. The program focused on the expectations younger professionals should identify and state when seeking to start their career.
