When you need more than a consulting program because of complex
matters or as a follow through from our practice vision or
planning programs you need this special Coaching Service.
This
service is designed to guide doctors (and through them their
practices) using a consistent progressive interface over a
twelve month period. The service starts with establishing
parameters for the result(s) desired, identifying challenges or
barriers, evaluating options and considering resources
available. With the parameters stated, the results are broken
out into a worksheet tailored to that doctor / practice /
desired result and is used during all coaching sessions to
evaluate progress.
The program starts either as a natural follow through from the
practice vision or planning programs or from an independent
doctor situation.

Observation: Doctors are well intentioned in
resolving pressing matters or seeking to improve a situation
but lose focus, fumbling golden opportunities. Without a
consistent documented approach to identifying result(s)
sought and the execution toward achieving it, matters can
drag. When they drag it is extremely frustrating. This is
true for many business and professional persons, not just
doctors. But in doctor's lives, between the heightened
demands of patients, practice administration, family life
and self, the situation can be exacerbated. One of the

Observation: Due to the rapid
pace of a doctor's life, the best time frame for consistent coaching
is a weekly interface. With pressure from both practice and personal
affairs most doctors can quickly lose focus. Our experience is that
using on a weekly basis the guidance worksheet designed at the
outset of the engagement gives the best return for problem solving.

Observation: Periodic assessment
of the result(s) desired, the challenges and barriers and next steps
to be taken should be a timeline identified event. The coaching
experience can take on a life of its own with the risk that
appropriate evaluation does not occur. Our rigorous approach builds
in at the start of each engagement the best evaluation points both
from a process and a timeline standpoint. We find we work harder
knowing we will be reviewed and we want to ensure the doctor is
pleased with our efforts on their behalf. We encourage that any
evaluation is tied to previously identified business objectives
including: overall practice administration, marketing, finance and
profitability and personnel, self and estate planning.

planning programs we feel that assessing what the doctor's personal
goals are and how the practice can help to achieve those goals is
critical. The economic engine that is the doctor's solo or group
